Jefferson Airplane took to the stage at dawn at Woodstock in 1969. It had been a night of heavy rain and heavy rock. As the sun came up, Jefferson took to the stage and Grace Slick introduced the band thus "morning, you have had the heavy bands, now its time for some morning manic music".
Dawn of a new day indeed.
